This is the before video of a room that a client had me come and share my inspirations for their space. She wanted to turn it into a dressing room. As you can see, it’s basically a blank space with the exception of a few things in the room. What a fun project!
Here is the dressing room after video! While this is stunning, it’s not even 100% done yet. I look forward to sharing the finished closet project too!

Closet Before
This client contacted me to help get their closets in organized to put their home on the market. In this picture, you will notice that they simply had a lot in this closet that needed to be reduced.
Closet After
We sorted, reduced by donating unused and unwanted items and packed some unused items away and now this closet is efficient and organized.
Closet Before
This client got to have this entire closet all to herself! Can you imagine?!?! However, she also sells clothing and accessories online and some of those items were in this closet as well. The rest of the online items were stored in tubs in her home.
Closet After
After sorting her items to determine what was hers and what was for sale, we removed all sale items from the closet. We then organized what was hers and added the lower wire basket shelves (which she already had in various other rooms in their home) so that she can easily see her vast shoe collection. Luckily for her, she had another closet that was being underutilized and that how houses all items for sale nd they are all hung and easily accessible.
Family Room Before
This is the result of years of working and coming home to basically eat and sleep. The client didn’t have the time or energy to come up with a solution to this clutter.
Family Room After
By sorting and creating designates places for her belongings (and donating some too), this family room is now relaxing and inviting.
Dining Room Before
Again, this space has not been used to it’s full potential. The shelf blocks the sight lines and everything has simply piled up due to lack of time and attention.
Dining Room After
By removing the tall bookshelf, putting CD’s in cases and books on the shelves, this space now has clean sight lines and is all tidied up!
Pantry Before
This pantry was not feeling the love! Items were just tossed in, bags ….so many bags!
Pantry After
We removed the excess bags and recycled them and then we were able to see the full potential of this pantry. Items were sorted and expired food was disposed of. Now this pantry is a refreshing change and so much easier to use.
Pantry Before
Various items on various shelves. Some of it was not used anymore. Time to sort and purge!
Pantry After
Once we removed expired food, and put like items together, the space is so much cleaner and easy to use! Now, time to get cooking!
Bedroom Closet Before
This client had a large closet but simply wasn’t utilizing the space to it’s maximum potential.
Bedroom Closet After
Notice how the shoes are all organized now, the clothes are color coded and sorted into categories and the addition of the jewelry organizer. The space in this closet is all used efficiently and the client can easily find and decide what to wear, what shoes match and what the perfect accessory is!
Kitchen Pantry Before
Pantries! They can easily become a disorganized space in any home. Often times, this results in not knowing what you have and purchasing duplicates or simple frustration with not being able to find what you are looking for!
Kitchen Pantry After
With the addition of spinning racks, the wall rack, canned good holders and a stacking shelf below, this pantry is now and efficient one. The client’s food is sorted and stored by category and everything is easy to find. There is not more duplicate shopping in this household!
Kitchen Utensils Before
The dreaded utensil drawer! Everything is simply tossed in and you have to search for what you are looking for!
Kitchen Utensils After
By adding these containers, like items are stored together. Easy to find what you are looking for and easy to maintain as well!
Linen Closet Before
This linen closet stored a lot. It just wasn’t stored efficiently and made it hard to find items when the client needed them.
Linen Closet After
By adding some containers for like items, rolling the beach towels, folding the bath towels and storing the sheet sets inside the pillow cases, this closet is so pleasing to the eye. The client can easily find what she’s looking for!
Appliance Closet Before
This extra closet became the appliance closet as well as a catch all space.
Appliance Closet After
By sorting the items and adding the shoe holder to the inside of the door to store plastic cups, this closet is organized beautifully and the client can get to what she needs at her fingertips.
Kitchen Pantry Before
This client was so excited to organize her pantry. She wasn’t sure of all she had and simply wasn’t using her space to it’s maximum potential.
Kitchen Pantry After
We added some spinning racks, canned good risers, and organized like items together. As you can see, the client has an abundance of beans and sauce that she was unaware of. Now she is shopping more efficiently because she knows what she has. Such a better use of her space!
Garage Before
This shelf in the garage was simply a “catch all” space. Thigs were place there with no rhyme or reason.
Garage After
We hung the chairs, organized like items together and made efficient use out of this shelf area!
Garage Before
This was the perfect spot in the garage to keep the bike – but why not use the vertical space and keep them both there?
Garage After
Both bikes are hanging and easy to get to. They are no longer taking up valuable floor space!
Garage Before
Shovels, rakes, boxes that moved and were left in the garage and not touched since! This space needed some organizing!
Garage After
We used a simple wall system and were able to clarify a space for all the yard equipment plus more!
Bedroom Before
This beautiful master bedroom became the place to drop and go. Basically, it ended up being the space for things that this client simply didn’t know where to properly put it. We uncovered 3 tents, multiple coolers and various other odds and ends.
Bedroom After
We found a proper storage solution for the camping gear and turned this master bedroom into a tranquil place to read, relax and rest! Now the client can embrace this beautiful space!
Office Before
Paperwork upon paperwork and then various other miscellaneous items. That, partnered with a book collection of literature that the client wasn’t actually reading made for a very overstuffed office. The goal was for the children to use the desk for homework and studying. The problem was that it was hard to focus in this environment.
Office After
With the help of the client we reduced the paperwork by shredding, recycling and filing. Books were donated to appropriate causes and now their sons can study with ease!
Closet Before
Let me share the story of this master closet with you. During the house tour, I asked the client if I could see in the closet. She said “just a minute, I need to get the flashlight”. I was confused and asked her why. She shared that the light wasn’t working and that they used a flashlight to get to their clothes. That was not very safe given that you could hardly open the door because the floor was covered.
Closet After
This client had a closet full of clothes that she was no longer wearing! We donated those items and organized what she did wear and put the various other items that ended up in the closet in their appropriate places in their home. Now, it’s a pleasure to find what they are going to wear and most importantly, it’s a safe environment!
Closet Before
From the inside of the closet. Feeling overstuffed and overwhelmed.
Closet After
Now, the client can actually see what she has and enjoy the clear space.
Laundry Room Before
The floor of this laundry room was covered. The shelves in this room were not being efficiently used. Not to mention that there was an upright freezer that they didn’t use that was taking up valuable storage space.
Laundry Room After
The freezer was donated to a family in need. Their camping supplies are now stored in the space it was occupying. Items that the client no longer used were removed and now there is space for everything to be stored properly and my client can easily do a load of laundry now!
Kitchen Before
This kitchen was being underutilized! The cabinets had items that the client no longer wanted. We removed everything from the cabinets and pantry, donated unwanted items, discarded outdated food and together we came up with an organized plan for the kitchen. Prior to that, they simply kept everything on the countertop and island. This left little room for food prep and in turn, they rarely cooked at home!
Kitchen After
Everything has a place now and is organized and easy to find. Since unwanted items were removed, it is also easy to maintain.
Kitchen Before
Another view of the kitchen prior to organization.
Kitchen After
Look at this inviting kitchen! Now there is space for food preparation as well and eating!
Attic Before
This is just a part of this attic organization project. We went through everything in the attic and categorized it all then determined the best process for storage in her attic.
Attic After
This is the finished attic space. So clean and easy to find everything now!
Bonus Room Before
Honestly, this rom gave me a bit of anxiety. It was so full that I couldn’t even get to the other side to adjust the blinds for the photo. It actually overflowed into the hallway!
Bonus Room After
Look at the size of this room now! The best part is that their son was able to proudly have a birthday party sleepover and this is where they all slept!
Garage Before
This client moved into a new home and needed assistance with organizing her tools.
Garage After
We hung a system and then filled it up with all her supplies. Everything is so easy to access and maintain now!
Guest / Office Before
This was a fun job! First off, let me tell you that the client would shove stuff in this room and closet the door and avoid it.
Here is the back story. This client was able to have a remarkable positive change happen in her life but us a result, she had to be away from home for an extended amount of time. Friends stepped in and helped her but this room just became the dumping zone. When she returned home, life was extremely busy and she simply didn’t have the time to address this mess.
Guest / Office After
Together we sorted, recycled, donated and stored things in a more effective manner. We brought the bed in and put it together and now the room serves dual purpose. She doesn’t keep that door closed anymore! There is nothing to be embarrassed about!
Bonus Before
You know that age old saying “I’ll deal with that later”? Often times, we just don’t make the time for dealing with things. That is what happened with is room. It became a dreaded project But leaving it like this was wasted space.
Bonus After
We worked together to put things where they belong and better organize things that were meant to stay in this room. Now the client and her family are able to relax and play in this wonderful bonus room!
Bonus Room Before
Like I mentioned on the other picture of this room, this was a room that was just storing stuff to be dealt with later.
Bonus Room After
Look how spacious it is now! It is now an extra play room and relaxing room for the whole family!
Closet Before
This was a sad situation. My client’s husband had past away and she needed some help removing his items and then organizing this closet to fit her heeds.
Closet After
We were able to bless others with his several suits and work clothes. Her items were placed at a level where she can reach them and are now sorted by season, type and color.
Closet Before
My client had a hard time reaching the upper row of clothing in this closet.
Closet After
Now the out of season clothes are high and what she is wearing now is at a level that is organized and she can use efficiently.
Closet Before
An additional photo of the other side of the disorganized closet.
Closet After
Even something so simple as moving her shoes to eye level helps her to know what she has and easily find it!
Dining Room Before
This home is an interesting story. My client had moved several times and each time she never truly unpacked and therefore, the boxes kept simply going along for the ride. This time she was moving and wanted to sort through everything and only move what was necessary. Each after picture will show an empty room because this home is for sale and we simply had to sort what she had for donation, shred, move and trash. Our goal was to have it ready to be put on the market and only the necessary items moved to the new home.
Dining Room After
This turned out to be a bright and beautiful room once we organized and moved the belongings. In fact, the entire home is beautiful!

Sister’s Closet Before
Now this project hardly felt like work at all! This closet is shared by two young sisters. It was delightful to sort and girl’s clothes and create a space for each of them in the closet. We also removed several toys from the closet and created a play space for them in the bedroom.
Sister’s Closet After
I added the lower clothes bar to the back of the closet. One sister has the clothes straight on and the other has the area to the right. And we were able to add some fun accents to be playful and girly!
Sister’s Closet Before
Here is another picture of the before and after that includes the shelf storage.
Sister’s Closet After
Using storage bins that the client already had as well as some accessories, this closet turned out adorable and is so efficient now!
Bedroom Floor / In Process
Full organization mode. All toys were sorted and organized by category. I often tell my clients that the jobs are going to get really messy before we clean them up. This is a prime example.
Bedroom Floor After
Lots of room for the girls to play now!
Newly Created Play Area After
We removed the cube storage from the closet and repurposed it in their room for dress up and accessories as well as some of their other toys. We added the mirror (at just their height) to complete the project. The girls simply loved it and immediately started playing “dress up” when they saw it.
Master Closet Before
This closet just needed a little attention. You’ll see in the after picture that we maximized the space and made it a clean and efficient space where the clients can easily access their clothing and shoes now.
Master Closet After
The addition of the shoe rack in the center helped to clear the clutter in tis closet. Now there is defined space for his and hers and the clothing is color coordinated!
Master Closet Before
This client had several clothes that she longer wore. Her goal was to remove unwanted clothing and come up with a system to easily find what she wanted to wear.
Master Closet After
A system is what we created. We sorted and removed unwanted clothes, put what was left in groups and then color coded them. By also moving her pants to the bottom shelf, the closet looks larger and more spacious. Not to mention that she can see the floor space as well! Now her closet is pleasing to the eye and its easier to her to pick out what she wants to wear.
Extra Storage Before
The client was unsure of how to use this storage and therefore it just became a gathering place for various items that were just put there.
Extra Storage After
Items in this closet were sorted and stored with like items whether it was in this closet or another part of the home. It now all makes sense!
Dining Room Wall Before
This client moved into her new home and needed help hanging pictures on her walls. This is only one example of what we did that day. We came up with picture collages and hung them throughout her house and now it feels like home!
Dining Room Wall After
The client is enjoying her artwork and now it feels like her home!
Closet Before
You will see with this picture and the next before picture that this closet was in need of a little attention.
Closet After
Notice the adorable bins on the back shelf that hold all her stuffed animals and treasures. We also added a shoe rack to keep all her shoes together in one place.
Closet Before
Hey, where did the floor go? This is so typical with a child’s closet. Just toss it in and close the door!
Closet After
We added a lower bar for her clothes. Everything that was on the floor was removed and grouped with like items and place in bins. This closet organization was a surprise for this little one and she was over the moon happy with it!
Laundry Room Before
Most of us don’t enjoy doing our chores. With an unorganized laundry room, it’s even more dreaded!
Laundry Room After
This space was sorted and organized by category. Laundry detergent now has room on the shelf and everything is easy to get to. Makes getting the job easier and more pleasant to do!
Office Before
In this home, the office is used as a home office, business office and child’s music room. It also happened to be the “catch all” space for any paperwork that they simply didn’t want to handle immediately. As a result, it piled up!
Office After
Items were sorted, shredded and a filing system was put in place. The goal is to make tackling the paper that comes in an easier process because it now has a place to be filed!
Game Closet Before
When sorting through this closet, pieces from various games were in games they didn’t belong in. I sorted and put items back according to age range. Basically, each child had a shelf that corresponded with games for their age.
Game Closet After
Now that the closet is organized, the children can easily find a game or activity that they want to do and all the proper pieces are with it and ready to go. It makes playing so much more fun!
Bonus Room Before
This area wasn’t too much of a challenge. Simply needed a little help.
Bonus Room After
I created designated play spaces in the room which then allowed me to create this quiet reading corner for their eldest who likes to read a lot!
Child’s Bedroom Before
This was my first project. A preteen who needed help organizing her room to make it look more grown up!
Child’s Bedroom After
We sorted, donated and grouped like items together. Now this room is more sophisticated. We also did some furniture rearrangement!
Child’s Bedroom Before
You’ll notice that the room just needed a little attention and rearranging to bring the look all together!
Child’s Bedroom After
Again, we tidied up the room, rearranged the furniture and added some wall décor to finish the look!
Closet Before
This closet wasn’t being used to it’s full potential. The client couldn’t really find what she was looking for either!
Closet After
By sorting clothes and donating items that no longer fit (mostly all her shoes!) we were able to put like items together such as shirts, pants and jackets. We also color coded them and added a jewelry organizer and an over the door shoe organizer. No need to throw things in the bottom of this closet anymore! Everything has it’s place now!
Sink Cabinet Before
Lack of organization under the sink makes it hard to find what you have. Often clients end up purchasing duplicate items because they are unaware of that they currently have.
Sink Cabinet After
By simply adding some dollar store baskets and an raised shelf, this sink area is now organized and items are easy to locate and put away when you are done with them.
Home Office Before
As you can see this office space was not being efficiently used. As a result, the client preferred not to use it!
Home Office After
By organizing what the client actually used and rearranging a couple of items, my client can easily get the job done! This space is more efficient and easy to maintain because of the systems we put in place!
