A Little About Us

“What? You actually enjoy organizing spaces?” This is typically the reaction that I receive upon telling someone that I am a professional organizer. But the truth is, I do enjoy it! I even thrive on it. I love helping people get organized and making their homes a space to embrace, rather than a space to avoid.

I realized the importance of being an organized person when I had my children. It just simply made life run more smoothly! I continued using different strategies in my life and I found that the flow of our household improved when it was organized. When moving my daughter in and out of college dorms and houses, I would thrive on getting everything set up and organized in a functioning way. Upon moving from Ohio to North Carolina, I again noticed that I truly enjoyed organizing the pantry, kitchen, closets, garage and the storage room. I found it self-satisfying and a light bulb went off in my head: I could help others be more organized and efficient by using the skills I learned over the years.

When moving to North Carolina, I knew that I wanted to work with people and impact their lives in a positive way.  That is exactly what I do as a professional organizer! With the busy lives that everyone leads, I’m the helping hand for families to stay afloat in their lives at home and making it a space that they love and enjoy.

I am a very kind and compassionate person.  I was taught by my parents at a young age to treat others the way you would want to be treated. Transforming unorganized spaces is my passion.  Getting to know each family and then working together to create a better flow of the home brings me joy.  I take a “no judgment” approach to each job. I will not make you feel bad about your space.  We are not perfect people and neither are our homes, and I understand where you are coming from. My end goal is to help you simplify and organize your space and make it a desirable place to be in.

My assistant, Erin

In June of 2021, Space to Embrace expanded and added an assist, Erin!  She has a passion for organizing and I’m blessed to have her working with me!

Let me share a little more about her.  She is originally from Washington, NC and has been living in the Raleigh area for 16 years.  Erin is a wife and mother of 3 adorable children.  With running a busy household, she realizes the importance of being organized and staying ahead of clutter.

I am so thrilled to be able to offer an extra person for future customers when needed!
