Do you have a child that will be going off to college in the fall (given that the pandemic is over and we are getting back to normal)?  I know it can be overwhelming with so many things to think about and to have ready not only for school itself but for your dorm.

I remember the time my daughter was heading off to school and we were wracking our brains trying to think of everything that she might need.  Not only is it hard to imagine them off on their own but to also think of everything that they may need can give everyone a huge headache.

So, in order to eliminate that headache, I thought it would be helpful to put together a list of what we thought were “must have” items.  Then, I thought it would be best to share the list with you sooner than later so that you can start gathering the items over the summer and have them all ready when move in day comes around.

I also encourage you to share any items that I may have overlooked.  Perhaps there was something that made a big difference in your child’s transition that I have overlooked.  I welcome your input.

And to those of you who are heading off to college (hopefully on campus and not virtually) I wish you all the best of luck with your transition to this next chapter of your life.
